About Safehog
What this is
Safehog is a free, open-source tool that gives you a personalized security checklist based on your devices, habits, and specific concerns. It runs entirely in your browser — your answers are never sent anywhere.
Why it exists
Most security advice online is either aimed at enterprises or written by people selling something. The rest is overwhelming walls of generic tips that assume everyone has the same threat model. Safehog is the opposite: ask first, recommend second, and be honest when you don't need something.
Who runs it
Safehog is maintained independently. Contact: security@safehog.com.
